Meet new F-Teamer Grace Davison
After her awesome performance at Irish Champs we sat down with Irish youngster Grace Davison to get to know her a bit better. There are big things in store for this new F-Teamer!
Age: 15
Club: Ards Swimming Club
Coach: Curtis Coulter
Highlight: 2022 Commonwealth Games
What are your Swimming goals this year?
Qualification and hopefully finals and a medal chance at European Juniors within my last three years and Commonwealth Youth Games.

How about your Swimming goals for the next 5 years?
I have another two years at European Juniors after this one, and beyond that, the transition into a senior athlete. Having competed at the Commonwealth Games in 2022, I've been lucky enough to have an insight into what that involves.
What motivates you to pursue these goals?
I just want to make every training session better than the one before, to keep getting better and faster and keep moving forward.
Do you have any pre-race rituals that you swear by?
My music probably. I have quite an organised pre-race routine for the 30 minutes before a race, but I always do it while listening to music.

What meal do you love, but can't tell Curtis you indulge in every now and then?
Wagamama, but I think he knows that :-)
If you could compete anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Australia, obviously!
What are your main interests away from training and competing?
Brunching with friends, holidaying and sleeping.
Do your parents or siblings share any special sporting talents?
My sister, Mia, swam until a few years ago. She represented Ireland at EYOF in Hungary in 2017.
