NEW WORLD RECORD FOR SUMMER!
16 year old Funkita F-Teamer Summer McIntosh has taken her swimming success to the highest level setting a new World Record at the Canadian Swimming Trials tonight. Summer swam a blistering 3:56.08 in the 400m Freestyle toppling the world record of 3:56.4 that Ariarne Titmus set at the Australian Championships in 2022.

Over the next four days, all eyes will be on Summer as she gets set to swim the 200m Freestyle, 200m Butterfly, 200m IM and 400m IM. She is the third fastest woman in history in the 400m IM and is the current Junior World Champion in all four events: 200m Freestyle (1:54.79); 200m Butterfly (2:05.05); 200m IM (2:08.08); 400m IM (4:29.01).

What an honour for Funkita to have one of the world's best swimmers repping our brand. Funkita is so proud to have Summer on our F-Team of sponsored athletes and we look forward to supporting her as she continues to work so hard to reach her amazing, lofty and inspiring swimming goals!
