F-Teamers hit it out in Edinburgh
Touted as an important hit-out for many of our British and European athletes, the Edinburgh International meet was a hotly contested pitstop in the lead up to the trials for several big international competitions in 2022.

On the opening night of the 3-day competition our F-Teamers showed some stellar form. Ciara Schlosshan touched third in the Women’s 200m Fly (2:13.77), while Leah Crisp (400m Free - 4:15.34) and Imogen Clark (100m Breast - 1:08.93) also claimed bronze. Crisp added to her bling on night two, winning another bronze in the Women’s 800m Free. Clark dominated in the 50m Breast on night two, standing atop the dais with a time of 30.78.

Katie Shanahan had a grueling weekend of racing in Edinburgh. She collected a medal of each colour in the 200m Back (gold), 400m IM (silver) and 200m IM (bronze), showing not only in-season form but her diversity and balance across a range of disciplines.

Honey Osrin and Tain Bruce also have medals to show from the the big weekend of racing, having placed second in the 200m Back and third in the 100m Fly respectively.
With the British Champs only weeks away, it’s back to the grind to find that extra 1% for our Funkettes.
