Nuna Workout Art Challenge

Who's still stuck in isolation with no sign of an open pool in sight? All of us in Melbourne are getting the nervous twitch again without the chance of a swim, so our friends up the road at Nunawading Swimming Club have thought outside the box and put together the 'Workout Art Challenge'. Swimmers aren't renowned for their drawing skills but the Nuna swimmers certainly gave it their best shot on Strava during lockdown.

From July 14 to August 11, the Nuna swimmers have to make creative pictures with their cardio workouts, using apps that would map out their workout route. Funkita athlete and Nuna swimmer Sophie Caldwell is on the judging panel to determine the most creative piece of workout art.

From idyllic landscapes to creative critters the options are endless when it comes to creating workout art. Who knows there may be a budding Matisse striding out a masterpiece right now! Times are tough right now so it's important to look out for one another, keep active and of course inject a bit of fun into your workouts while you're out of the pool.
