Making History: Mun Yee Leong at World Champs

The first F-Team medal at the 2019 World Champs was won by Malaysian diver Mun Yee Leong.

F-Teamer Mun Yee Leong made history yesterday with her incredible silver medal finish at World Championships. Currently competing in her 8th World Champs, Mun Yee and her synchro partner Pandelela Pamg scored an impressive 312.72 points in the Women's 10m Synchro event to finish on the podium with China (1st) and USA (3rd). This medal finish has secured both athletes a spot on the Malaysian Olympic Diving Team heading to Tokyo next year. To make her achievement even more impressive, Tokyo will be Mun Yee's 5th Olympic Games, making her the first ever Malaysian athlete to attend 5 Olympic Games.

Mun Yee will also be competing in the Mixed Team Event tomorrow - make sure you don't miss it!
