Holly Barratt – WA Swimmer of the Year!

F-Teamer Holly Barratt has been named 2019 WA Swimmer of the Year.

After a fantastic season, including medalling in 3 events at World Short Course Champs in December last year, it's no surprise that F-Teamer Holly Barratt received the top honour from Swimming Western Australia: Swimmer of the Year. The Lyn McClements medal was awarded to Holly at Swimming WA's Annual Awards Night on Saturday.

Competing for Rockingham Swimming Club, Holly has gone from strength to strength since making her international debut at the 2017 World Champs at age 29. Under the guidance of WAIS coach (and her partner) Will Scott, Holly is now gearing up for World Champs trials which take place in Brisbane on June 9-14th. Having medalled at Australian Open Champs last month she has her sights set on making the Aussie team once again.
