F-Teamer Neale Reveals Rio Delight
F-Teamer Leah Neale is chasing her dream
F-Teamer Leah Neale was the first 15-year-old in Australian history to go under two minutes for 200m freestyle and now, 5 years later, she will compete at Rio.
After coming fourth in the 200m freestyle at Australian Trials in April, Leah missed out on qualifying automatically for Rio and had to wait until the team was officially announced before she knew she had secured a spot in the 4 x 200m freestyle relay.
"I was super shocked when I got the message. I found out on the day of the announcement so the week prior had been a little suspenseful," she says.
Neale is only too aware of the opportunity that awaits her in Rio.
"I'm focussing on leaving no stone unturned so I'm at my peak for this event because you don't know how many opportunities you are going to get to represent your country."

The success of the Australian swim team inspires Leah and helps push her towards fulfilling her own dreams. The road hasn't always been easy but Neale always remained focused on her goal.
"If you have a vision then strive to do everything you can to get there because it can be very rewarding."
