Taylor Mckeown will be one busy girl in Rio
Taylor McKeown will be the busiest funkette in Rio as she swims in two individual events, the 100m and the 200m breast. Taylor excelled in the 200m breast claiming gold and swimming a PB of 2.21.45. That event followed her initial qualification in the 100m breast where she bagged silver with a 1.06.68 swim.

Good luck to Kareena who will be swimming open water Olympic trials in June.
Special mention also goes to long distance swimmer Kareena Lee who is on track for her open water Olympic trials in June. In the pool she claimed gold in the 1500, bronze in the 800 and 5th in the 400. Not bad for a training event for our Funkita star!

Congratulations to all funkettes
It was a huge week of swimming and the Aussie team is looking incredible for Rio and for the future, with so many of our young stars putting in incredible performances. Shayna Jack claimed bronze in the 50m free and made the final of the star studded 100m free final! Ariarne Titmus came 7th in the final of the 400m free as did Sarah Beale in the 200m back final. Tianni Gilmour impressed in the finals of the 400m IM and the 200m fly coming in 6th and 8th respectively. It all bodes well for the F-Team's future!
Go girls!
