Funkita F-Teamers on track for Olympic Trials
Funkita Twins Leah and Taylor ready to race at Victorian Championships in their new Hot Wash Funkitas
With less than ten weeks remaining until the Olympic swimming trials, Australia's top swimmers congregated at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre for the Victorian State Swimming Championships. Although still in the midst of a heavy training schedule, our Funkita F-Teamers showed Australia and the rest of the world they're looking good on the road to Rio.

F-Teamer and Funkita model Koti won the 50m freestyle at the Victorian State Champs
Koti Ngawati showed her form winning the splash and dash of the 50m freestyle in a quick 25.65 seconds. Fellow F-Teamer Ami Matsuo was not far behind claiming the bronze in 26.01. Ngawati finished the meet strongly with a bronze medal in her main event, the 200 individual medley, after Olympians Blair Evans and Alicia Coutts.
Taylor McKeown also claimed gold in her specialist event. It was a dramatic win for McKeown who overtook Australian Short Course Champion Georgia Bohl in the last 10 metres to touch the wall in first place, ensuring she retains her crown as Australia's queen of the 200m breaststroke.

Leah Neale, Sophie Caldwell and Mikayla Messer also added to the F-Team tally with a bronze medal each.
Paralympic swimmer Taylor Corry claimed gold in the multiclass 50m backstroke before swimming a PB in the 100m freestyle to win her second gold of the meet.
