F-Team Update

There's a lot going on with our Funkita girls at the moment so here's a quick update!

First up Aisling Scott, Ami Matsuo, Jordan White and Tianni Gilmore have been selected to represent Australia at the World University Games. The Games will be held in Korea from 3 - 14 July and will be a huge opportunity for the girls to race on the world stage.

Next it's a big congratulations to Kareena Lee who has been selected for the World Championships in Russia for the 10k Open Water event, after her performance at the 2015 FINA Open Water World Cup in Cozumel, Mexico. Kareena placed 14th overall with a time of 1:48:42, which secured her spot on the squad. Kareena swims at Mountain Creek Mooloolaba Swim Club and is back training hard for Russia.

Finally we're very excited to see our Funkita F-Team divers Melissa Wu and Emily Meaney secure gold and silver in the 10 metre platform at the recent Australian Diving Championships. Their awesome performance has let to Melissa's selection on the Australian team to travel to Russia for World Champs and Emily has been picked for the national squad.
