F-Team Update

Some piping hot news from the pool as our Funkita girls are on fire at the Australian Age National Championships and British National Swimming Championships.

There are currently 29 F-Teamers swimming at the 2015 Australian Age National Championships in Sydney and 8 competing at the British National Swimming Championships. Of our F-Teamers we have 7 Funkita girls who have already tasted success with 8 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, with impressive swims by Gemma Cooney, Ami Matsuo, Shayna Jack and Kaylee McKeown all notching up two Gold medals each.

Squads for the 2015 Junior World Championships are picked from results in this event, so let's go Funkita girls!

The British Nationals also began earlier this week and with only 2 days of competition left for our British F-Teamers, Commonwealth Games Bronze Medalist Molly Renshaw claimed Gold in the 200m breast, Darcy Deakin took out second in the 200 free and Aimee Wilmot collected bronze in the 200 fly.
