Taylor McKeown: A Golden Dream

Funkita's own Taylor McKeown starred in the recent Polar Rising shoot and we captured some amazing images of her in the beautiful setting of the North Sydney Pool under the Harbour Bridge.

Taylor enjoyed working in front of the camera for the first time and couldn't wait to see how the underwater shots turned out!

Professionally, on the back of a stand out 2014, Taylor is ranked 4th in the world for the 200 metre breaststroke after winning Commonwealth Games Gold in Glasgow and she is hungry for more! Keep a close eye on Taylor this year as 2015 is set to be very promising. Next week she will compete at the BHP Billiton Aquatic Super Series in Perth and then onto the Australian Swimming Championships in April to be held in Sydney, with the aim of qualifying for the 2015 FINA World Swimming Championships in Russia later this year. Beyond Worlds, the Olympics are firmly in her sights in 2016.

To help celebrate the launch of our new range Polar Rising, Taylor greeted a group of eager fans who lined up outside Swimwear Shack in Brisbane to meet her.  It's no question that Taylor's hard work and dedication is amazing inspiration for young swimmers. Go Taylor!
