Our recently profiled Australian swimwear brand, Funky Trunks, has launched into the performance swimwear space with their new FINA-approved APEX Performance Jammer.

With a global fan base for its chlorine resistant training swimwear, the brand has taken the leap to become a serious player in the highly concentrated performance swimwear market. After two years of development and testing on their stable of international and national swimmers, the APEX rates as a serious suit for racing. For starters it's tight! The compression is incredible and it's going to take you some time to get into it correctly. But once you're in it and you've hit the water, you'll feel the advanced waterproofing of the fabric streamline you through the water with absolute minimum drag.

The garment fit is spot on and the fully bonded seams are barely visible and feel particularly strong and durable. The gripper tape around the leg opening holds the suit in position without restricting function. The APEX is fully compliant with FINA 2014 regulations and are on the market for the extremely reasonable price of AU$195 (approx US$185).
